Detached house
Five volumes tangent to each other of different heights make up this vernacular construction.
Each one of these volumes responds to a programmatic piece of the house. They are joined through a passage that connects all the pieces and guarantee long views to the interior that enrich the space.
All the pieces have visuals on either side of the garden that make us believe at we are the time surrounded by green and confuse the inside and outside. The most intimate and private pieces are solved with overhead light.
Designed with a structure of ceramic load-bearing walls that follow the logic of cubes.
The materials are shown in their most natural side: wood, stone, concrete and stucco. Everything reaches a very Mediterranean colour scheme.
A sculptural spiral scale welcomes us when we enter the house in a distributor volume. It is followed by the open island kitchen that takes an important role. The living room occupies a high volume, open at the corners with a fireplace. The main room faces a more intimate and private garden.
